Ronil Besele | Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Ronil Besele is a seasoned real estate executive with approximately 20 years of industry experience, including more than 12 years in executive leadership roles. He has extensive expertise in strategic real estate investment, portfolio optimisation, financial feasibility analysis, asset acquisition and disposal strategies, public-private partnerships, and corporate governance.
Prior to joining Letlole La Rona Limited as Chief Executive Officer, he served as Property Development Executive at the Special Economic Zones Authority (SEZA), where he led the development strategy for Botswana’s Special Economic Zones and investor engagement initiatives. He previously held the position of Director in the Real Estate Advisory division at Deloitte in Sydney, Australia, advising government and private sector clients on major real estate and infrastructure investments.
Mr. Besele holds a Bachelor of Business Management (Real Estate & Development) from the University of Queensland, a Master of Financial Management from the Australian National University, and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
Rorisang Modikana | Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Modikana has over 20 years of financial leadership experience across the financial services sector, with a strong track record in financial strategy, risk management, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. She has held senior finance roles at leading institutions including Hollard Insurance, Botswana Life Insurance Limited, First Capital Bank, and Botswana Insurance Holdings Limited.
She is a Fellow of ACCA and BICA and holds a BCom in Accounting from the University of Botswana. She also completed the Senior Executive Program - Africa (SEPA) at Harvard Business School.
She is currently the Chairperson of the Special Economic Zones Authority Board (SEZA). Other previous Board memberships include Botswana Unified Revenue Service, and retirement funds.
Lesego Keitsile | Head of Investments
Ms Keitsile is an astute Investment professional with 12 years’ experience in investment and portfolio management. She holds an MSc In Finance and Investments from London School of Business and Finance, a certificate in Executive Leadership from University of Oxford, a certificate in Enterprise Risk Management the University of Stellenbosch, a BA(Honours) degree in Finance, Accounting and Management from the University of Nottingham and Management Development Programme from the University of Stellenbosch.
Prior to joining Letlole La Rona, she was Head of Investments at Motor Vehicle Accident Fund where she was responsible for active portfolio management of the Fund’s P4.3 billion portfolio and for investment strategy formulation, implementation, and monitoring. She started her career as a Business Consultant at Grant Thornton Botswana where she was specialising in private company valuations and financial due diligences.
Mooketsi Maphane | Board Chairperson
Mooketsi Maphane is founder and director of MYHRSPACE (PTY) LTD, a human resource consultancy and technology start up. He brings over 24 years of executive-level expertise in industrial psychology, strategic human resource management and management consulting.
Mr Maphane holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree Psychology from Hawaii Pacific University, USA, and a Master of Science Industrial & Organizational Psychology from Springfield College, USA. He went through a Management Development Program from the University of Stellenbosch Business School. He is a Certified Coach through the Results Based Coaching Program. He has a Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance (Life) and Practice of Long-Term Insurance. Insurance Institute of South Africa and a Financial Advisors International from the Qualification Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII), UK.
Mooketsi is a member of the Institute Of People Management and Coaches and Mentors of Southern Africa (COMESA) and the Society of Industrial/Organizational Society of South Africa.
Katso Gaobakwe | Non-Executive Director
Ms. Gaobakwe is a meticulous and forward-thinking investment professional with broad expertise in corporate finance, investment strategy, and portfolio oversight. In her role as Investment Principal at Botswana Development Corporation (BDC), she has consistently demonstrated strong capabilities in financial evaluation, analysis of financial statements, investment stewardship, and financial modelling.
Katso holds Masters in Management of Finance Management Development Program, Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and she is a Certified Chartered Accountant (member of FCCA and BICA).
With her extensive knowledge of corporate governance and mergers & acquisitions (M&A), she also holds directorship positions across various entities within the BDC portfolio, highlighting her acumen in identifying lucrative investment prospects and excelling in deal sourcing and execution.
Boikanyo Kgosidintsi | Deputy Chairperson
Boikanyo Kgosidintsi is an entrepreneur, independent non-executive director and former finance and banking executive. A lawyer by profession, Boikanyo has deep financial services experience. He has been involved in capital raising of over USD2 billion for African sovereigns, blue chip corporates and state-owned enterprises. Prior to his retirement from corporate Boikanyo was CEO of a life insurance company and Group Head of Investor Relations for pan African microfinance group. His skills include leadership, strategic thinking and communication.
Mr Kgosidintsi chairs the Botswana Bond Market Association, apposition he has held since 2023. Boikanyo is a member of the investment committee of an independent private equity outfit that invests in businesses that operate in Botswana and across the region.
Amantle Kerebotswe | Non-Executive Director
Ms. Kerebotswe currently serves as Director of Strategy at Botswana Public Officers Pension Fund (‘BPOPF’). She is a seasoned executive with expertise spanning from Information Technology, Project Management, Corporate Strategy, and Business Process Management. She joined the BPOPF in 2016, following extensive experience in the telecommunications, IT, and consulting sectors. Her career spans over two decades and includes broad business exposure across various strategic and technical assignments.
Amantle holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Development (with a minor in Telecommunications Management) from Murdoch University, Western Australia, and a Master of Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University, United Kingdom. She also holds various professional certifications, including Strategic Business Management, Balanced Scorecard, PRINCE2 and PRINCE2 Agile Project Management, Prosci Change Management Methodology, eTOM Business Process Framework, ITIL (IT Service Management) and Company Directorship.
Rowesai Mosarwe | Independent Non-Executive Director
Ms. Mosarwe is a Chartered Accountant, independent non-executive director and seasoned business leader with experience in financial management, corporate governance and strategic leadership across financial services, insurance and consulting sectors. She brings strong governance oversight and strategic insight, with a track record in organisational transformation, capital discipline and sustainable value creation. Her expertise includes corporate strategy, risk management and financial performance.
Ms. Mosarwe has served on a number of boards and brings extensive fiduciary and governance experience, including as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chairperson in regulated financial and pension fund environments.
She holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Botswana, is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA) and has completed the Executive Development Programme at the University of Stellenbosch.
Dr. Neltah Tshepiso Mokgware-Monosi | Independent Non-Executive Director
Dr. Neltah Tshepiso Mokgware-Monosi is a real estate industry professional, academic, and entrepreneur with over a decade of experience across asset management, facilities management, market intelligence, development feasibility, and strategic project leadership. She is the Founding Director of Tempest Gold, a boutique real estate advisory firm providing valuation, feasibility studies, market research, and investment advisory to financial institutions, listed property companies, developers, and major corporate real estate portfolios.
Dr. Mokgware-Monosi provides a rare blend of academic scholarship and practical industry acumen, leveraging research-based insights to guide data-driven investment strategies, optimize asset performance, and fortify governance within property portfolios.
She has held several governance and professional leadership roles, including serving on the board of the Real Estate Institute of Botswana (REIB) as Secretary General and Vice-Chairperson. She currently serves as Acting Vice-Chairperson of the Future Leaders of the African Real Estate Society (FLAfRES) and Secretary General of the Developers Organisation of Botswana. She is also affiliated with the Real Estate Advisory Council of Botswana, the American Real Estate Society (ARES), and the African Real Estate Society (AfRES).
Dr. Mokgware-Monosi qualifications include a PhD in Real Estate from the University of the Witwatersrand, an MSc in Project Management, and a double major degree in Economics and Accounting.
